Fielding was licensed by the AHS in July 2007.  Comments from VhW Breeding Director Werner Schade included:

"This interesting stallion, by a son of Fabriano and tracing back to Lugano I/Bolero on his dam's side, was well developed with calibre and substance.  He was especially emphasized by his clearly defined saddle position and the stable connection in his back.  In addition to his powerful movements, which were always in rhythm, Fielding convinced above all in jumping where he showed overall view and potential."
